Through a series of fortunate (or unfortunate according to my bank account?) events, I'm going to Otakon this summer! I'll be hunting down cool artists and maybe scoring some sw33t swag! Supposibly I'm doing this cosplay thing too, which will be my first for a convention, but that shouldn't be bad...right?

Also, I've been working for the past couple weeks at TCNJ learning l33t computer skills and moving computers to and from labs. This only makes me wish I'll get a stable job after college because I like how the work doesn't follow me home. It's quite relaxing compared to school. =3=

I got a macbook pro today with the free ipod touch for students.

Farewell PC Tower of Death (once known as Bob, then known as Rex). You served a good 8 years of providing entertainment through electronic means.

On the bright side, I will no longer have to destroy my back carrying the tower up a flight of stairs when moving in or out of the dorms. =A=;;;

I just found the original 2001 drawing (aka the sheet of paper I drew it on) of the first group of the Fanboy Wars on the MT forums. The weird stuff you find around your room while cleaning. =3=;;

Day 5..."CodeBluBurd" has continued to visit my window every morning.

So sometime about 8 PM last night, the internet went down. It apparently only affected my side of townhouse west, which sucks because apparently IT is doing nothing to fix it. I'm kind of annoyed because if anything went wrong with the mac labs, I'd be there to fix it, even if it was a weekend. The only reason why I have internet now is because MTW decided to set up his wireless router in Liz's room.

So one day without internet in my room was...interesting. I got some work done, but I couldn't seem to focus correctly when doing artwork because I was constantly checking for AIM messages. Weird.

...Life post later. =_= Foiled by the lameness of TCNJ IT.

My dad keeps telling me I should wake up early in the morning to the sounds of birds singing...

Today. I did.

I was half-awake as always because the sun wakes me up earlier than I want it to and I heard this weird noise. I thought it was some weird electronic device at first, but I realized nothing in my room ever made this noise before. So I got out of bed and peeked out my window to find a morning dove staring right back at me. We just kind of stared at each other for a minute then I let down the curtains, went to the other side of the window to find the morning dove staring at me again. I think I tried to find something to take a pictue of it but it flew away.

...What a weird bird. I wonder if it'll nest in the tree in front of my window.

...What the hell? This is my second day of cancelled classes, and I did all the work for it before I even knew. =_= I might as well just say "f*** this" and go do some random artwork instead. Whatevs. Stuff still needs to get done.

I spent the weekend -not- going home like everyone else and...bought a lot of stuff for AAA with the staples rewards money we got. ^______^ I also managed to grab a decent amount of the Kingdom Hearts manga for cheap because the local borders express was going out of business. How sad. :/

I think I'm finally settling back in to college normality. Maybe. I'll talk about classes later.
